I've just been looking at a few sites dedicated to Avebury, I dug them out for Vicki Virago.

I am working from home, and it was a long weekend, and I am a bit of a late starter. I am doing other stuff while I am on-line, though. Honest.

Let me know if you find any good Avebury sites. I am definitely up for a trip there. Not July or August though. June would be cool.

I was disappointed to find a lack of decent aerial photos, I've seen several over the years, but none in any of the sites I visited. Just type Avebury into yahoo, it comes up with loads.
