Been even longer than I thought since I'd posted last...

How are things going?

It's been... interesting, but it's going good now

Glad to hear it. will have to pop over to your journal and catch up when I get chance.

Not been around here much recently. Been far too busy with the band and the comedy night. Both going really well, and as if I haven't got enough to keep me occupied, I've been asked to start a music night at Bar XS. Which means organising and promoting. Very time consuming but should be fun.

Even better than that, I've got a new girlfriend! Which is brilliant. she's called Genevieve and she is fantastic.

That's great dear! On all fronts Are you going to bring her to the Marrow Saturday?

No I didn't. She came to the party we went to afterwards though. how was your weekend?

Well, I got a fun phonecall Saturday morning...

Oh, wait, you knew that

We went to the fair, and I got a bit overheated... More than a bit, actually... And then I made the mistake of drinking too much cold water too fast... But except for that, I had a good time

Sunday, we went to help set up for Church in the Park, and then went to it... Afterwards was a picnic, and Tom had of course brought his guitar, the little amp, and the pedal, so he played a bit. And then Pastor John brought his drum over, and joined him. So that was fun.

Today, since it was a holiday here, and I don't work holidays (and get paid) I slept in. We got some stuf for the apartment, and I decided to see if I could revive the backyard some, so I watered it alot, and the little tree looks much better. The grass is still short hay, of course...

so you have nice weather over the pond at the mo? We didn't really see a summer. Pretty dull fo rmost of it. the odd days where I could grab a guitar and sunbathe in the park were nice though.

it's been pretty warm... You would have roasted here...

Certainly would have. I burn, I go red, I peel, I go back to pastey white!

Gen (my girlfriend) wants to be a stand up comic, and I'm getting more nervous than her about the first gig. I feel like a parent at their childs first school play.

Well, try not to show her how nervous you are--you don't want to feed her nervousness so much that she can't go on!

(That made sense in my head, honest--not sure what happened on the way to the fingers...)
