h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Hi Eric! I can't remember where I first came across you on h2g2 (could it have been on the WLC? or H2IQ? I really can't remember!) but I just had to check out your UserPage... And now I'm back, on a mission from the WLC!

You are loved, Eric! Don't forget it, because you matter and forgetting simple things like that can upset everything. I'm serious. People care about you and love you--your family, friends, h2g2-ers, Python-freaks around the world: you change them by your presence, and your presence is certainly *not* destructive! You lend laughs into your posts, and that is one of the best cures for a not-so-great day. Thank you, and remember:

I could get all philosophical with you about "love" on the internet but I'd rather take it at face value and thank you for the gesture.

I had a look at the WLC page and like your idea. It's nice to get a message like that from a stranger and nice to be know that there are people out there making an effort to bring a smile to others. I know it did for me.

Keep up the good work, and maybe I'll see you on H2IQ (I mostly browse there, usually too late to post an answer).

I'm *always* too late to post an answer to Greebo's questions--she posts them when I can't get online, and when the correct answer is usually posted within 30-ish minutes... Well, I can't do much about it.

But the "First Amoung Equals" conversation... Those are posted at more ecclectic hours, so sometimes I can answer them....

Yes, it was meant to be taken at face value--love in the open sense, as a fellow human being who is worth a whole lot. You *are* loved by tons of people, but not necessarily romantically loved. Pity, eh? Your internet people really do love you, though.
