OK, So I joined. Now what?
Good question. I'm not usually the type that registers to everything on offer for free. Although I did join http://www.beenz.com/" >http://www.beenz.com/ a while ago on a whim but haven't done anything with it.
I guess I joined h2g2 because I really like the idea of creating an Earth-bound Guide and hope to contribute myself, as soon a I get a good enough idea. From what I've read so far of the entries, most seems both entertaining and informative.
I've been a fan of Douglas Adams ever since I read The Hitchhiker's Guide trilogy. To me it ranks as a modern classic up with the Discworld and Harry Potter series. I've always hoped for more adventures of Arthur and Ford and lapped up the Dirk Gently books too. If by some wierd chance Mr. Adams actually reads this, then please add me to the (long, I'm sure) list of people wishing for more installments.
A little about myself. I live in Israel. From our frequent appearances in the news you'd think we're a country of 100 million. In fact only 6 million. A small country with lots going on, so never a dull moment here.
What do I look like? well this 8-) pretty much covers it.
My main loves (besides my family) are Monty Python and The Beatles. All you Monty Python fans out there will understand my nickname, which I use as a dormant regular on the http://www.pythonline.com/" >http://www.pythonline.com/ website and it's spin-off Python Spouses website. For the rest of you, if you're interested I'll explain if asked.
OK, I think that's enough to start with. Now lets get back to The Guide.
