I would be very grateful if you would pop along to Camelot http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A564022 and let me know of any historical innaccuracies. I am not asking for your participation in such a foolish venture, but do want to get my facts right and you sem to be well qualified to judge.

PS I would prefer you replied here or on my page rather than on camelot itself. Thanks.

Right, for starters the Arthurian myth (as my project will hopefully demonstrate) is practically without basis, so you can get away with anything. One or two points, though;
-Morgan Le Fey. According to Malory etc, she was Arthur's half sister (Arthur was the b*****d son of Uther Pendragon and Ygraine, whereas Morgan was the legitimate daughter of Ygraine and her husband, the Duke of whereveritwas ) and the incestuous relationship was between her and Arthur, the result of which was Mordred. Therefore, Mordred is the incestuous b*****d son of a b*****d father, and is destined to be killed by his dad at the Battle of Camlann but not before giving his pop a mortal wound. No wonder he's pretty p****d-off with Arthur and Camelot.
-Bevedere [sic]. Spelt 'Bedevere' or 'Bedivere', IIRC.
I might just have to sign myself down as Gawain...
Great idea!

NexusSeven, my dear chap. I found this while browsing (no, not being nosy, that's a totally different thing) your message centre. This place has a dungeon! I'm hurt and confused that you didn't tell me about it. I might have missed it!
Help!!
NexusSeven Posted May 23, 2001
Sorry. I had only recently found out about it myself, and was rather too wrapped up in the Arthurian thing to realise the significance of the dungeon.
So, are you going to sign yourself down for a part?

It's ok, just lucky I am so nosy, I mean, so keen to browse.
I went straight to the dungeon, so I didn't realise that I had to chose a character, but reading it properly, I think I would have to be Gunievere, as they were moaning in the dungeon that she was stealing their equipment. Aa she's not on offer I asked if I could stay myself.
Would you like to come into my dungeon little one? Muahahahaha. Sorry, forgot myself there.

But I am a noble and virtuous knight! I don't hang around in dungeons...
...unless I've been kidnapped and held to ransom by an evil robber baron or somesuch. And that's only if I haven't done him in first.

Settle down, you two, settle down.
Thanks n7, for the putting right, which I have attended to.
Mina, don't be cross, Camelot only came into being yesterday and very little has yet been done by way of publicity. (Actually, If n7 prefers, you can be cross and give him a good seeing to)
Mina, don't worry. You can pick up/take over any character you want. I just started a few off to get the thing going. I'll have to amend the instructions to make that clear.
Key: Complain about this post
