...X-mas is over, the new year approaching. Running round like a blue behinded whatsit still going on though.
Lots of lovely prezzies this year, including the one thing I've always wanted and yet never had the guts to buy....A shocking pink rocket lava lamp!
Two cook books this year - a Madhur Jaffrey and the Green and Blacks chocolate cook book (so it's off to Tesco for me to buy some ingredients and have a go at some point today 
). And a rather funny book about the misuse of punctuation (methinks my Aunt is trying to say something here!!!!!???!??!?!?!?!)
Spent christmas day with my family - Dad doing his best to be a pain in the neck, and succeding of course. My tolerance for him and his quirks has dissapeared over the last couple of year. I still love him to bits, but to be honest I think I'm finally going through the teenage rebellion bit (either that or he's getting worse - no matter, it's still annoying)
Hope all who read this - and those who don't of course - have had a great christmas time and are looking forward to the joys of the year to come.

You back in the world of Glasgow? We pulled some water through the line and all is ready for sending back. I'm going to come through tuesday, so I can bring it over in my car on Wednesday if you wish (even to the brewery if you are working? You'll have to give me a map though)
There is a current thought to go to the Bon Accord till it shuts on Wed night rather than Ishkies (which will be packed) or the HogsHead (which is just cr*p) Should be sending out a mail soon...

Happy New Year, Zee and Toc! I got a new cookbook, too, this one for bread. My husband has already made wonderful popovers from it.
