Now, I have no problem with anyone having a photograph album, and, to be quite Frank (I will be Bob, Gerry, Sindee, Juliet instead if you prefer!) I don't really mind what goes into photograph albums, but, is there any particular reason why you have a photograph album full of pictures of onions?
This appears a bit odd to me, but then I most probably appear quite odd to most people, so thats what makes you, you and me, someone else, but, why Onions?

The simple answer as to "why onions", is that turnips are too big to lug around and take photographs of and radishes are too small to show up. As for carrots - well that would be silly, wouldn't it? Julie (my wife) already had many pictures of potatoes when we met, so onions seemed logical.
The other (probably more truthful) answer is that onions are just plain daft. I had a lot of fun over a period of about 2 years taking onions (not the same onion, obviously) out and about whenever I had the camera with me, and photographing them in different locations. I took one to a friend's wedding and have a picture of the bride holding an onion.
Alas the album is now full, but whenever I mention it or, better still, actually show the photos to people they usually laugh. And that is good enough reason for me

That is plentty good enough a reason, I used to have a (small) collection of odd books I used to like displaying so people had to think, or worry about them, The one I always liked was the handbook for poisoners. And, when younger, I had a scrap book of pictures from magazines ETC, entirely of fires, odd, I don't know.

Like the book idea. It's the same with the onion pictures. Just a talking point. It's also a good way of ensuring you get a double seat on the train - try sitting next to someone, getting out a photo album and saying "Do you like onions? Have a look at these...". You'd be surprised how many people seem to suddenly realise they need the next stop / buffet / toilet etc.

Good way of getting rid of people sitting next to you on bus/train, ever thought about putting the Onion on the seat next to you?
Then, when people ask; "is this seat free?"
you could say "No, there is an Onion sitting there."
