What do you do now for your daily bread then, Gandalf? Now that you are a civilian again, do you have an interesting job? Or or you living the life of leisure there in Preston? I am a bartender, and I've often wished I could work in a pub over in the UK. There are not many here that have any sort of real character.

A living. Well not to give too much away (we like our anonimity here on h2g2) I run a mobile phone major service centre.
As to Brit pubs - there is nothing like them. I have written a few lines on three of the pubs in Preston at my article A415162 (yet to go into the edited guide, when it gets recommended!)
