Louise

Dear Journal,
I've finally met my net friend Louise in person in Croydon. No great surprise, she's just as lovely in person as on messenger. What more can be said? except: if you're out late in Croydon and need to get home to Surrey the same night, make sure you check out the travel arrangements carefully. The Gatwick express comes once per hour.

As far as I know, there's nowhere else quite like the Black Sheep Bar in Croydon. That shows how little I know, I suppose. I shall postpone judgement on it though - it definitely has some pros and cons.

Journal

The last few days have gone very quickly and not much has happened - I seem to have spent most of it either sleeping or on the web.

I'm wondering how the next days are going to pan out. Obviously I need to revise. I'm not sure how I will keep up to date with both this journal and my editorial on my website. I'm thinking maybe I should rename my editorials page because it's really just a messy html journal.

I'll tell you about the editorials page, it contains lots of spur-of-the-moment notes about my website and various subsequent notes about my life intermingled with it.

I would like to see all my web stuff more closely integrated, or at least linked to. This I'm going to do, but I'm not sure whether you can really create links in an h2g2 journal entry.

We shall see later.

Neil, if you can seriously do all that then that will be very very good, but you have only 630 hours until the first exam! For 29 pieces of revision, this means an average of one day per item! That's assuming you utilise all your available time! GET A MOVE ON!

Don't Panic

Dear Journal,
It's good to be back on this is my second incarnation on H2G2. I'm not precisely sure what happened to the other one after 2001, but I wanted it got rid of and eventually just lost the account number.

Why, what was wrong with it? I didn't like my journal entries, and I didn't have anything proper in My Space.

So hopefully things will be different here. I will write what I want to write whoever may read it, and I'll see if I can get My Space to amount to something I can be comfortable with.

We all lead interesting lives? I think my case may be quite disputable. We shall see about that.

My name is Neil Tarling.
