How I got here
I found my way here slowly but surely. 20 some odd years ago I read THGTTG Trilogy which at the time just came out with the fourth book. I have re-read them when I needed to and have never failed to see the amazing mind of Douglas Adams unfold as we evolve as humans and our technology has advanced.......just like in the book. It has been The Salmon Of Doubt that got me here finally. It makes me comfortable to know there are other folks hitchhiking!
But the real reason is that Douglas Adams' connection with Life The Universe and Everything has a startling resemblance to all of the intricate works of this planet and its universe, many of them from his mind well before we experienced them "in real life". I continually find connections to books related to spiritual growth (like the dolphin reference). Coincidence.....not according to my research.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
