There is only one thing worse than being Gosho, and that is not being Gosho

During the 14 or so years I ran my little removals and delivery service I had a few brushes with fame. No superstars or A-list celebs, maybe a B-list or two, but a good few on the C-list. People you'd almost certainly recognise, probably by their name, certainly by their face.

Naturally, tact and discretion prevents me from naming any of those names, at least until they're dead, anyway. Like Fred Dibnah, but that wasn't through work - he happened to be on a pub crawl around Bury on his traction engine, and one of the pubs he stopped off at was opposite a friend's house where I was spending a long weekend (we heard the most almighty noise, looked out, and saw Alison parked across the street), so we went across. I think we were almost the only people in there. He really was built like a brick shithouse. The pub's gone now, and not too long ago judging by Google Maps (there's a building on the overhead view but an empty space and a land-for-sale sign on Streetview).

Any road up.

Every now and then I'll be watching a film or a TV drama/sitcom (or in the case of one or two, a news item), and I'll think to myself 'Oh, I've moved him' or 'I remember delivering a picture to her house' (I could tell you a fascinating story about that one smiley - weird). And every once in a while two of those people will show up in the same production, even in the same scene. That happened a few days ago.

But wild horses wouldn't drag any names from me until they show up in 'Closing the book' smiley - whistle

Can you tell us the picture story without naming the names?

I'm not sure. I doubt anyone who knows this person is reading my journal, but you never know. It's astonishing how word gets around sometimes, and if it does it might be easy to identify the celeb in question. I think it's best if I keep schtum, for now.

Well, keep your "so called" celebrity secrets. In my mind they all go like this scene in Repo Man.
