Firstly, it's raining 
Secondly, I've just spent an hour in the company of Dewey, which is only the second time I've seen him these past five years, I think, and he remembered me 
Flossie wouldn't come out from under the bed though

I picked him up, and straight away he did that thing where he used rub the top of his head on my chin, then he spent the next 45 minutes on my lap being adored 
I wish Flossie had made an appearance though
And this morning I woke up to the sound of rain droppething (and not gently) from heaven. That hasn't happened for a very long time. I just wish it hadn't happened on beer delivery day

And the rain has had one other benefit - the bulldozers and diggers next door weren't able to start up at 6.50am like they normally would have
