Ah, that brings back some memories 
I'd love to use it in the entry but unfortunately it's not permitted. The Editors choose one of the two or entries published each day and commission a picture for it from the Community Artists or grab one from the BBC archive which they don't have to pay rights for. Nice thought though.
What you could do is post something in the forum for the entry, talk a little about your fondness for the place and add the link to your picture. In that way the picture will become part of the entry, sort of.
What's the pub like these days? Are they still doing decent Sunday dinners? Is there a bloke called Alan who sits in the corner of the downstairs bar every day smoking his pipe and doing The Times crossword? Do you live nearby? Is there still a friendly rivalry between the Barge, the Bull and the Bell and Crown?
