Le Roi Henri IV--an Introduction of Majestic Proportions
Well, it's funny actually how I came to stumble across this site...I was looking at various astrological resources to fulfill my latest whim and I came upon a link to this of all things because Saggitarians are notorious "travelers"...
My name is Brad and I find myself to be a diverse person of sorts. That is, I am fond of many different things and enjoy surrounding myself with diversity. My passions are music, Disney, education, and foreign languages and cultures. I speak a little of about 15 different languages and am fluent in French. My latest language venture is Esperanto, which I am trying to teach myself before the summer is up (it is the first of August as I write) and all of the sites I have visited proclaim it is the easiest language to learn...I'll let you know.
I am currently working on my masters degrees in education and plan on obtaining a doctorate in etymology (word origins). I'm not quite sure if such a degree exists...
I am originally from the great American state of Kentucky but am bounded by education to West Virginia for a few more semesters...time moves pretty slow in the mountains....
As you may be able to tell from my user ID I am exceptionally fond of French history and culture. I spent a summer living with an extremely nice French family in Les Sables d'Olonne in the Vendée region of France. I have found that Vendée has one of the richest cultures among the French regions.
I have read a few of the other introductions and contrary to the others I have read, I do not have plans to take over the world...not with my own hands at least...I plan to teach... if I wanted to create an army of "Bradonians", I have soldiers at my disposal...never really thought about it....something to consider...
