Intro
Hi - For a few years now, I've found myself teaching Teeline shorthand to relatively large groups (for a skills-based subject such as this) of 45 Journalism students each year.
Having had a mixed reception to this subject within groups each year, a little while ago I decided to conduct a survey of industry's perception of the need for shorthand skills in journalism here in New Zealand.
Amongst other things, I'm interested in passing on what I found out and finding out what others using shorthand in journalism think of the skill.
