Right, As of today, for the next two weeks I am not going to be going anywhere near a computer. I've got an audit with the US Food & Drug Administration, and it is really really hard and thorough, and I haven't even got time to have any lunch (or brekky for that matter). I've got a feeling the inspectors will really put us through hell
Hope you are feeling better, and hope every goes great with the hospital referral

Hello!
Exhausting! Just finished the audit (went surprisingly well, will look good on my CV!) and catching up with the day to day work, along with mooching about looking for something good to recommend for my scout day thing. Trouble is, everythings been commented on good and proper by everyone else, and I notice that some ppl are a little protective of entries they have 'nurtured'. Anyway.
Hows you? Hope you are feeling fit & well Did the move go OK?

Yeah I am cool - went to Amsterdam for the Dutch community meet up and over did the vodka just a bit!
But the move went well and I had Monday and Tuesday off. So I borrowed an extra dog and went walking on a friends farm, which was nice but wet and muddy!
Just got to sort out all my stuff now and so I am going to spend tonight building storage boxes from Ikea! I am pretty sure you need a PhD in astrophysics or something from the look of the instructions!
Glad the audit went well - that is something! How is the job hunting going?

All my Ikea stuff keeps falling apart, cos I can't be bothered to read the instructions.
Does this mean you're out in the country now?
Job hunting is *not* going well. I've seen an advert for a job up in Cambridge, but so has the rest of the medical profession, and I reckon there will be at least 10 billion applications for it!

And the funny thing is that if you did read the instructions they would fall apart even easier!
Yes - well I am in my home town and so it is about 10 mins to open country, but I am looking to move down to my friend's village so then it is open country proper. Bliss! Hand me the green wellies I am going native!
Poor lamb - it is worth a try however cos someone has got to get it!

Get the horse! Get the horse!
So was it *really* too much vodka in Holland, or was it something a little more pungent and green...?

I have been window shopping in various equine magazines!
the first night was the latter but it does not agree with me. So the second night I went with my drug of choice, vodka. I then preceeded to show off by downing as many of them as I could (not straight after one another though i hasten to add) cos the look on Mark (Moxon's) face was a picture.
I was fine for ages, completely intelligible and just happy and then for some unknown reason I just could not stop crying so I went back to hotel. Sunday was interesting though...

Sunday I could not keep anything down and the situation got worse as my bloodsugar level crashed through the floor. The flight on a propellor aeroplane made the situation worse. I eventually rectified the problem through judicious use of Fruit gums!
and yes there will be photos! Hurrah - yet more horrendous photos of me all over h2g2! I have seen them and they are not good!

I shall look forward to seeing the picture of a tearful Abi vomiting vodka all over the tulips!
I've just done my scouting recommendations, trying carefully not to tread on anybody's toes - personally I couldn't give a toss who recommends an article, so long as the job gets done. Hopefully everyone will stop arguing about it soon.
Sorry, I'm tired and I have a sore throat, and therefore a tad grouchy. I promise not to grouch at you any more

oh hideous of hideousness! But I didn't throw up on the night remember - only the next morning!
Yeah - some people take the site extremely seriously and tend to over react. Ignore and remember that we love you!
Seeing as it's you, you can grouch all you want! But I know what you mean. I have got a cold, am on day 3 of "healthy eating regime" i.e. doctor recommended crash diet and so consequently am biting everyone's head off. Particularly if they have got something nice for lunch!

You have just risen several points in my estimation. Thank you for being the only person who has had something yucky for lunch.
