Stressed today - we have a huge audit from the US Food & Drug Administration soon, and the amount of preparation for it is immense. I have lots of patients in today, and I'm trying to keep everyone happy by being in more than one place at a time. I *really really* need to get to the bank to pay in my lottery cheque, and I really need a)To have something to eat and b)To have a wee.

not sure - I know it has cillin at the end and that you are not allowed to take them with iron supplements or indigestion remedies. And they make you feel very drowsy and give you a sore tummy. I am not being much help am I?

Good News - i am being referred to a vascular surgeon, bad news my Bupa cover lapsed and no one can tell me why.

Other then that I am good - cos I am moving back to home to live with my brother which should be a laugh and I have only a week and a half left in the flat from hell! *Yippee*!

Hmmm - Iron supplements? The main thing you should watch out for with antibiotics ending with cillin is that they can render the contraceptive pill ineffective during the course.

well my right leg blew up again over the weekend and is not going down so my GP thinks there might be some damage to the lymph system and she wants it looked at.

Vascular surgeons are good at sorting out that sort of thing

Does your ankle swell up even when its not pink and painful? - Could be what is called lymphoedema - difficult to make a virtual diagnosis. Sounds like you have a really good GP btw. Which hospital you going to? If you come to the Royal Free give me a shout and I'll make you a nice cup of coffee while you wait for your consultation!
