The Kentucky Derby was described to me as the home of fast women and beautiful horses. I always remembered this. I don't like horses too much... I'm leery of animals that're bigger than me... but I love women.

I've heard a saying that Ky has fast horses, good bourbon, and good-looking women, and that the bourbon is why the women look good. I guess it's a matter of perspective.

Well, for me, being with a fast woman is second only to being with a fast, good-looking woman. Drinking bourbon and looking at women is only slightly better than drinking bourbon and looking at horses. When the horses start looking good it's time to quit the bourbon, I think.
