I'm sorry, I'm afraid you've been mislead. I'm not really that witty, but hey, while you're here you might as well read what I have to say... Except for the bit about the bugs, I think I wrote that while suffering from the synergistic (is that how you say it?) effects of a pepsi and an aspirin.
Well, gee. I don't really know what to say. I found this place after a friend in my spanish class told me about a translator on altavista. He called it the "babelfish". A few months after this I read the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy. My first thought was "hey! they stole the name of that fish from altavista." But then I started thinking. Now, we both know that the folk at altavista aren't particularly clever. So when I saw the name "babelfish," with the witty little spin on the word "babble," I figured that the name wasn't their brainchild. In hopes of finding the origin of the babelfish, I clicked a promising little link, entitled: "the origin of the babelfish." And that brought me here.
So here I am. As to who I am... I am a teenager living on the outskirts of Mediapolis, Iowa. For those of you who haven't heard of Mediapolis, don't worry. You're not alone. Not by a long shot. Most of you probably haven't even heard of Iowa. For those of you wondering why I spend my time here doing this... I really don't know. I really do sort of kinda have a life, but when nobody's looking I enjoy a little bit of sci-fi. Anyway, who are you to judge? You're here too. For those of you wondering why I've said for those of you 4 times... I really don't know. I hope to be writing entries soon, and hope that you'll be reading them. As you can see by the lack of links and exciting colored headers, I have no knowledge of html or anything else that has anything to do with web pages. Do not be alarmed.
