perplexingApollonia, this is the only post I will direct your way, and perhaps then you'll get it: you insulted me more than once. You continue to insult me, and other people. Thus, the choice by many of us to simply ignore you.

Not every conversation has to be about serious topics. If we want to talk about fashion in the 70s, we can, and it's not your place to call us stupid or wrong or neo-conservative (if you know anything about the woman whose thread you've entered, or me, you'd know just how wrong that characterization is). The fact of the matter is, I come here to get AWAY from seriousness. The fact of the matter is, I spend my days up to my eyeballs in serious topics, and the last thing I want to do here is engage in political conversations, or get called names by people who do not know me.

And another thing...I've noticed in other threads that you don't seem to have the grammar problems you've chosen to display in the thread you've insulted so many people on. Why is that? Not that I'm particularly interested in why, but I find it interesting that you go onto a thread filled with people you don't know from Adam, use deliberately problematic grammar, and insult them. Perhaps you should look at your own motivations before you go attacking other people.

I'm sure you'll accuse me of patronizing you. You seem to think that anyone who doesn't agree with you is patronizing. I don't know you. I have no idea about you, your life, your education, your motivations, or your personal issues. But then again, you don't know anything about mine, either. Hasn't stopped you yet.

Last, but certainly not least -- if you're interested in having a conversation with people, perhaps entering a thread and asking questions, rather than flinging accusations, might be a better way to go about it. Just saying.
