Looking at some historical maps, in particular a map
of southern Italy when it was conquered by Pyrrhus of
Epirus (1), I saw the name of the city of Taranto and
natuirally wondered if perhaps now I could dare to ask
you about your name.

Thanks for the explanation.
Hmm...
I'd never seen a 606 page before.
I like the idea of being able to delete postings.
But then again, the permanent record of h2g2 does
keep one conscious of creating an image carved in
cyberstone for ever and ever amen.
