What is a Quinten, and what can it teach me?
The answers are, "That's not important," and "Just about anything, if it wants to, which it won't," respectively.
This particular life form enjoys Doctor Who, the Daily Show with Jon Stewart, and The Soup (with Joel McHale), as well as a number of other, more trivial things.
I once existed as Quinten_the_wise, but due to a terrible cosmic accident (it really WAS an accident, I swear!), my DNA was dramatically changed, along with my name, and I had to take some time to recover before returning under my new name. Don't worry, I'm fine-- just a bit twitchy.
Fortunately, my worldview remained (almost) entirely intact, as I am still a liberal-thinking, science-loving, moderately trustworthy person. However, I now have an unexpected hatred of maraschino cherries.
Feel free to leave a message, so long as that message is funny, clever, insightful, intelligent, thoughtful, very logical, very emotional, uses the word "inordinate" an inordinate number of times, and/or makes fun of Coldplay. You know what, just leave a message, and I'll get back to you. Or not.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
