I am a Scientific Glassblower at the Dept. of Chemistry at Oxford Univesity. I have a passion for audio. I have my own small business: MGM AUDIO. I do PA & recording work. I work for a Talking Newspaper & use BBC type monitors for my audio work. I have a great respect for the BBC Engineers who worked at Kingswood Warren & the BBC Design Centre. Jim Rogers, Maurice Whatton, D E L Shorter, et al. I own BBC LS3/5a speakers and an unusual pair of spkrs. that Jim Rogers designed for the Wilson Stereo Library, using KEF B110s ( reflex loaded ) and Audax tweeters, of the type used in various BBC monitors. I love cycling, mending cycles & have 6 or 7 bikes ! In my PA work I use various AKG, Shure & Sony mikes & Quad power amps & Soundcraft mixers.
