I agree.....theres only one pub near me that actually serves halfway decent guinness.....and i liked the place so much for that one thing that i'm now working there in the evenings after lectures.....$1 pound a pint for bar staff!!!!!
does the job for me anyway .................

Dear god...6 pints in 5 minutes
I could maybe manage 6 pints in an entire night, though I'd be rather sloshy by the end.
Ahhh well - nice to know that other people appreciate the wonder that is guinness - I'm about the only person who drinks it round here. And why do certain pubs insist on serving Murphy's instead?

the six pints thing was a mistake..I was drunk and being goded by anoing Irish Dj (who is now one of best friends) but I have never been so sic in my life after that..still it was fun though..and I even broke even on the whole night out which carnt be bad
and all Irish peopleappreachate Guinness..murphies is ok I gess but no where near as good

Ewww - don't remind me. I don't believe that any of the pubs here in Reading serve Beamish, thank god.

I love Guiness. I live in New York and the poors are mostly substandard.
I've had it in England and it was nice. I can't imagine having a guiness in Ireland I'd probably become an alcoholic.
