It wasn't a difficult feat tho as Planty used to regularly drink in either the venue bar or a nearby pub before a gig, post Zep of course

Have you seen the Q magazine special on Led Zeppelin? Certainly a good read and some excellent photos.I think it's still available in the shops so you won't have to order through back catalogue section of Q.

another time I really really hate the fact that I live here... perhaps I should resubscribe to Q... I desubscribed because it went all modern, but I didn't like Mojo despite its promising start, and then what with Empire there wasn't so much film stuff in Q.
Maybe I'm just getting old. *gets out comfy cardigan and slippers*
