However, be that as it may, I'm not that bad a guy. My nickname, for those who cannot pronounce it, is pronounced the same as "Earth". I have never been able to figure out how the 'Y' confuses people so much. For people who are confused about the origin of my nickname, it comes from the trilogy "The Riddlemaster of Hed", by Patricia McKillip. The three books in that trilogy are, "The Riddlemaster of Hed", "Heir of Sea and Fire", and "Harpist in the Wind". If you like fantasy books, I recommend them all, highly, and strongly recommend that you attempt to read them in chronological order. Within that series, the main character is Ged of Hed, and, by the final book, he finds out that his father is the Harpist Yrth.
For the remaining detail, I was born in 1958, which makes me (what year is it?). Ummm...about 43 more or less. I was born on the May 21, which is to say on the cusp of Taurus and Gemini, which makes me passionate and schizophrenic, I guess. I am a computer programmer, currently in the process of trying to start a business.
I started playing with computers back in 1979 without having any training in their use. So I learned everything I know the hard way - by Trial and Error. I am a recognized expert in my field (personal computer installation, use, maintenance and programming), and I specialise in communication.
