Well, now I've made somebody angry. Sorry sea masque. With (all other names suspended) I had no idea of knowing whether you ever came here under a name I would know. As far as I could see you were a stranger spamming us, and we have a definite policy about that.

Titania is a regular. So is Lintilla of the new convenience store. It is perfectly OK for researchers known to the crowd to tell us about their new activities, it's part of the conversation. But if a stranger comes in and shouts an advert then goes away again, that's not the same thing at all, is it.

We are having to respond instantly and firmly to prez campaigning to keep it out of the cafe. I have seen it nearly tear a few threads apart, believe me. My comment to Irv was not specifically aimed at you. Redfish came in several days earlier and campaigned blatantly.

Please don't assume we know who you are when you post, soeasilyamused -- if you had posted as yourself and said something along the lines of your latest journal entry, that would have been welcome, and we'd know who you were and go along and have a look at our friend's new entry. Please don't blame me for trying to hold the line. And come back to the cafe.
