h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

... to play a role in a role-playing scenario that I am setting up. It's not quite done yet (haven't managed to get all of the character descriptions up yet), but the scenario description is here:

It will point you to a general information and rules page, so be sure to read that too. The character you will be playing, if you want to play, is the Ship's Cat. I have gotten its/your private thread up, so you can read your character description.

I'm glad you got booted out of BB, because I thought you would be interested in this thing. If this one works out, there will be more in the future.

While everyone is waiting for the thing to start, they have gathered in a thread called: "Pre-start conversation" on the main scenario page. The crowd there isn't too big, but will grow as I scan/edit in more of the character descriptions. We are currently planning on starting on August 5th (a Sunday), since that is when I get back from holiday (I am away next week).

Let me know (either here or on the private thread) if you do or don't want to participate.

ship's cat, eh? not my usual cup of tea, but sounds intriguing.

I'm glad you're in! Although the Ship's Cat sounds like an odd role, I bet it was more intriguing once you read the character description. It has lots of scope, that character, and I think you will like it. Hope I haven't given anything away to anyone reading this.
