What have I been doing .... well in a nutshell :-

2001 Left Melbourne for Perth
2002 Left Perth for Oklahoma
2003 Left Oklahoma for Aberdeen
2004 Changed jobs
2006 Made redundant
2007 Left wife for complex reasons
2008 Got divorced
2009 Rejoined HooToo

Somewhere along the way I faded out from HooToo. I still keep up with Garius Lupus and soeasilyamused and that's about it.

Any idea how I get my old ID unlocked by the way ? I thought I knew the password and the prompt but neither of them works for some reason

Well, it certainly doesn't sound like a quiet life - more like the Chinese curse "May you live in interesting times."

Here's what I've got on the "getting your space back" thingy

The email address is h2g2DOTSupportATbbcDOTcoDOTuk.

If you forget your password, then the thing to do is to click on the 'Forgotten Your Password' option that is given beside the login box when you try to sign in. This takes you to a page that asks you to give the answer to the 'secret question' you provided when you joined h2g2, and your date of birth.

In the interests of security, other people (including Italics!) don't have access to your passwords any more. The secret question is the last safeguard against people gaining access to others' accounts. So if you can't remember this I'm afraid they can't really do anything.

If you're 'locked out' and think you might be able to remember the password, then they can remove that block to give you another chance to enter it correctly, but that's about it I'm afraid.

2002? How did that happen? I must have gone through a time anomaly, because I have not personally aged that much!

I haven't had to use physical violence in quite some time. I find the Withering Glare quite effective these days, and just as emasculating.

True, true. Even the Withering Glance is something to be feared.

Well, I guess it could be 7 years, since I can't remember the names of any of the characters I played. Um, I think there was a Butch somebody. That adventure was some of the best fun I've had in a long time. So many laughs.
