Sorry I havent replied sooner but this is the first time I ahve been on h2g2 for at least a month I think.

This birthday was fun, but so is laying on the beach

I got a telescope Annie - a nice Tasco Reflector, the ones you look in the side of with the mirror in the big tube.

It was nice and clear last night and I was looking athte moon and the seven sisters in Taurus.. one of my favourite constallations.

I had something done that gives me something in common with Mina & Helen, I had some birthday money, and was feeling old and wanted to be wild, so I went to the tattoo place in Wakefield and got my nipple pierced.

That was two weeks ago now and its still tender... maybe it wasnt such a good idea! I still cant believe I did it! LOL

Mina? How long exactly do they take to heal and stop hurting every time you knock them? lol

Maybe I should have had a bar and not a ring, it seems that I have a curved piece of metal in a straight hole, and its not happy if it moves upwards from its dangling position. LOL

its healing in the down position, and as a male nipple piercing is longer than a female one (?) across the back of the nipple areola(?) its more easy to knock it and make it twinge?

I'm kinda new at this whole body piercing thing, so any help or advice is appreciated.

I have nothing but contempt for rings I'm afraid. Mine didn't heal until I took it out and put a bar in.
Even the one I've had for over a year, I put the ring in to try it, within a week it was infected. I'd advise you get a bar and swap it over, but give it a week or so.
Female ones aren't supposed to be in the nipple either, although mine are. And it will be easier for you as your chest is flat, I still knock and hurt mine, but that's probably not so bad for me.
