Not quite a Hitchhiker ......
Although I'm a fan of the Hitchhiker series; radio, tv, books & film, I don't usually spend an awful lot of time on this site, hence the moniker GentlyDirk - another of Douglas Adams' creations - not a hitcher himself but a well known character in the DNA pantheon.
Incidently, I've decided to come out of the lurker closet today of all days because it's freezing cold and white outside and I'm very much a sun lounger, book and cold drink bloke. Roll on summer!
