Me
Born in 1946, when not many homes had telephones and tellys were very rare, I have seen the technological revolution unfold through the 20th century and into the 21st. Having enjoyed many occupations in my working life from fairground worker to IT manager I seem to have accumulated a lot of knowledge and a little intelligence. Nope, I am not going to harp on about the good old days. There are many good things in today's human experience and some very bad things but any student of history can find parallels in days gone by. Accumulated knowledge is the driving force that enables human beings to exist on this little ball of matter hurtling through space and maybe, someday long after I have shuffled from this mortal coil, it will allow human beings to live with mutual respect and happiness. Anyway I joined this group, cooperative, society, whatever you want to call it, in the hope that I can contribute in some small way. I have no idea what with yet but hope that inspiration will strike.
Warning to dwellers on other planets
Human beings are essentially noisy, illogical, prone to violence, emotional, nosy, interfering and bloody minded! You have been warned.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
