Greetings!
Glad to see you muddled through all the other bits to get to my page.
Just a little about myself...
I am of the female persuasion in my late 20's. I am American- bred (so I'm told), born, and reared in Canandaigua, New York. I still live in New York, just in another city.
I was born American, but have the heart of a Brit. I love everything British- with the exception of Vegemite. The time I spent in the UK was the happiest and most comfortable time in my life.
I have 2 people to thank for helping me 'out of the closet' to help me enjoy what my heart feels. The first being Douglas Adams, whom I found by accident one day in a Brit Lit Course. I read The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and I was hooked. I enjoy his take on life, the irony, and the humour.
The second person I have to thank is a woman named Do who was from East London. She gave me an entirely new perspective on life. She spend hours and hours chatting about TV programs, movies, literature that she knew I would enjoy. She was correct. People change and life moves on, but I'll always have those memories.
Well, that's the skinny on me, not that I am. Any insight you'd like to leave is much appreciated. Any suggestions on British thingys would be welcomed. And, if you know where I can buy a Cadbury Whole Nut Bar in the States, you'll have my undying love and admiration.:-P
