the swing of things
Posted Jul 17, 2000
Yup, I'm getting into it. Had a great weekend out, felt like I'm getting to know this town. I like this town. A lot. Burlington is a fun, fun place to be so far. Once my finances start to settle down (getting out of college and moving to a new place does a number on a person), I think I'll really dig it.
Still waiting for my guide entry to be approved. Hm.

fun with mailing lists
Posted Jun 18, 2000
Selbstbild now has a mailing list that's easily under my control. Why oh why do mailing lists and other such SSIs always have to be such a pain in the butt to set up? things like listbot are easier, but a pain in the butt to use. someone needs to come up with a happy medium.
my noodles guide entry hasn't been approved yet. i wonder if they've even read it. we'll see, i guess...

hmm...

well, i've opened an h2g2 page. the idea of writing for a real-life Guide sounded pretty fun, but this whole journal bit threw me, i have to admit. i write my own online journal outside of here, so who knows if this is even worth it...
for the time being, though, i'll just say that i went running in the rain today, and i recommend it to anyone. even if you don't like running (i don't either) you should get out and try it. there's something about embracing a dreary day and turning it completely to your advantage; accepting the fact that you're going to get wet and having fun doing it. it's a good way to start running.
just make sure you take a shower when you get back. don't want the sniffles, now do we?
