Well, I just hope I've made the right choice.
Monday 11am is the start of my new job in the BBC - Training office XP (only 4 month contract). I turned down a permanent job at Sky (livingston).
Well, at the minute both DD & I reckon that the right decision has been made. Lets keep the fingers crossed that at the end of the four months we both still feel that way.

oddly, that thought hadnt even crossed my mind. I think the top tier sky package that was offered as a fringe benefit must have clouded my judgement! 
Actually the sky job would have been fabbie. But who in their right mind would turn down any opportunity at the beeb?

The BBC are pretty good at extending contracts and offering further training, its a good place to start of a hopefully extending career. They're very supportive of employees, so hopefully it *is* a very good career move.
