Sentience-powered, enlightenment ready
Sentience, for most, comes with the heavy burden of curiosity. Throughout our short history, with the rise and fall of civilizations, the waxing and waning of religions, the inhabitants of this insignificant planet have maintained an exponential curve of cranial exploration.
Our early ancestors were concerned with local events. They walked through life happy to harbour one original thought. Of these, good thoughts became ongoing ideas. Of these, good ideas were put to practice, and fruition.
Our forefathers witnessed change on a nation-wide scale. Mass communication formed networks, and those connected could marvel at novel thoughts at regular intervals. Ideas became powerful, but were limited by the urban/rural framework.
Today, the urban loci of communication has networked to branch out to all points on the globe. No one need be isolated. Ideas take joyrides round the planet, bouncing from point to point, often with abstract yet meaningful shifts in frequency.
Earth is no longer insignificant. Given the inevitable rise of sentience and global communication inherit with any evolutionary system, one could argue that it never was.
So finally, it's here. We can say we were there at the beginning, the beginning that matters, when the fantastic idea of a unimind began in practice. Take ideas, bounce them around inside of you, filter them out. Isolate and purify the good bits. Share.
