Heat

It's about to get really hot here: up to 100 degrees by Wednesday.
This seems appropriate, as I spent the weekend with my brother at the New Orleans By the Bay music festival in Mountain View. I got a chance to see and hear some of my favorite music: ReBirth Brass Band, Los Hombres Calientes, Kermit Ruffins & the BBQ Swingers and Zigaboo Modeliste. That evening, we went to the Warfield Theater in downtown SF to see Galactic, who played the third set with the Dirty Dozen Brass Band (one of my alltime favorites).
We got home at 4:30 and had to get up again at 10 so I could drive my brother into the City for a lunch date. I went to work for a few hours and then went home and collapsed.
