The Potato Has Landed
The potato, noble solid and reliable.
Studying Philosophy and manure at Abernethy Agricultural college. Plato first came to light as a rising spud in the early 80's where he starred in a Golden Wonder crip advert. "I was the one in the jacket" he says proudly.
His thesis "The Potato from Conception to Consumption" won critical acclaim from academic vegetables throughout academia and Barnstable. This was later produced into a script, and the vegetables answer to William Shakespear was born!
Deciding to hit the West end and break into the non-vegetable world he hid behind an assumed name. Using his scriptwritting talent he put his evil genious to work. His aim simple.... To put vegetable eaters off their food.
He went on to write and produce such nausiating theatrical productions as "Cats", "Starlight Express" and "Phantom of the Opera".
Plato Potato now lives in London in a modest garden at Hampton Court.
