this is great. i'm at work, soz things are pretty boring, and there's all this great action and attention and fun. plus i can write any old weird peice of information and there'll be someone who will laugh. oh man, it's just too much. i can see my isp hours going up in a big way, cos i only work fri/sat.

To make the site possibly more interesting, go to Preferences and change the skin from Alabaster to Classic GOO (I tell every newcomer this).

Greebs, can you shed any light on why the other ACE's aren't welcoming anyone? I just welcomed someone who was on here six days and didn't get so much as a 'dear Gertrude Perkins, thankyou for your homepage, get stuffed' from anyone? In his journal he says 'been on here six days and there's nothing to reccommend it'.

Hmmm... disturbing news that Balders... as far as me knows they are... but me must admit me has seen little activity too... Me has only just come back online after a short abscence... so me is as guilty as the rest... write a message on the ACE's homepage with your concerns... see who answers and what they say...

ACE's don't just use the whose on line list to greet newcomers... there is now a list of new arrivals that we have access to... me thinks maybe some ACE's are greeting researchers via the list... and that means that they will not be greeted for a few days... this is just one reson me can think of... but do ask on the ACE's page... voice your concerns...

And a fifth, hot on the heels of the fourth. Welcome fatty.

Maybe the ACE's are busy re-writing their homepages so that they look as nifty post as they did pre the GuideML changes. It's taken me alll morning to sort mine out.

Well I'm not officially an ACE yet so I am not to blame but I do know that the who's online link is very helpful for me. But soon I will be! And maybe all the new changes got people distracted or something. Anyway, Fatty, I hope you are enjoying everything here...
