Prat Jeffley? Who he?
Fugitive from sanity, Prat Jeffley infests assorted areas of south east Wales most of the time, but has been known to haunt bits of Berkshire and London (both Greater and the City thereof) on business, Devon for pleasure, and the vicinity of Stanley Park in Liverpool when visiting Anfield with sprog No. 2 (of whom more below)
His lucid waking moments--rare beasts that they are--are occupied by:
:-) thoughts of and conversation with his Maker and Saviour (that's God, the Supreme Being, if you haven't been introduced yet) <><
:-) the family--Keren (forty-something and wonderful), Holly and Matthew.
:-) work, which is techie and boring unless you're him or your idea of a good time is an afternoon at the end of a railway platform with a video camera and a notebook, keeping the rain off with a quilted wind-cheater...
Work is in Bridgend--2 days (7am-7pm) followed by 2 nights (7pm-7am) followed by 4 days off. The bits between hither and thither are navigated usually (but not exclusively) aboard a VFR800, the experience of which is responsible for elevating either end of the Pratley set of lips in a whimsical fashion. :-)
As of this update, sometime in the early months of 2012, Holly is a graduate of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, where she studied Music Composition. She's also a bit of a biker chick, and loves the opportunities--all too rare--to ride pillion behind me upon said VFR around the Welsh countryside.
Matt is studying Physics at Cardiff University, and supports Liverpool--hence the visits with his Dad to the Land of the Scouse. Unlike his sister, he eschews the pillion, preferring the comparative comfort of the family Glof.
I promised, back in the days of the original HHGTTG pages over on Auntie Beeb, that I'd make this page a place to be proud of. It hasn't happened yet, but hope springs eternal. Until then, keep wincing at dangled preps.
