Team Tandem is what me and one of my friends did last Sunday where we cycled, on a tandem, around Jersey where we live visiting all 12 parish churches on the way. For charity of course.
The whole route was just over 30 miles but we completed it in 3 hours 30 minutes. Technically however this figure should have been 3 hours 5 minutes because after the first 2 really big hills we were on the way to church 3 and the chain snapped. We had to phone up the bike rental place to get it fixed and they brought us a new bike which wasn't really as good as the old one. We names it Geroff because we thought that was a silly name. The old bike was called Murphy.
We're raised about £960 which we're splitting and giving to our in school charities for trips we're going on to build things in other countries, so hopefully now I have enough money to get me to India so I can go and build the house for the family there, which I will be doing in the summer.

No, I'm going in July with my school charity organisation called KCAP. (King's Community Action Programme)
Thanks MJ. I think most of the money we got because my friend's Mum knows loads of people. It wasn't actually too hard, although I did fall asleep in the car on the way back.

It was. The worst bit was the second hill. Something close to a mile of road going up in the lowest gear there was (out of 24) and moving so slowly that I couldn't steer properly and kept wobbling. But we made it all the way up without stopping! Go us!
