I am rather tired of the stupid whining about the change.

Any change is bad, which skin I use is more important than anything else, and I wanna keep my taaaaaaagline

THis site is stuck in 1999. It needs to move on.

FFS, it doesn't even recognise [i] italic [/i] BBC tags. There's an irony there.

I'm not advocating change for its own sake, but yes, there's a lot that needs to be done to make this site more useable. And if people would like to hang on to things they like, fine, but surely there's a better way to request that than whingeing about it?

To be honest I think the things that people want to hang on to are the things that need to change: the skins, the limited functions on the forums etc.

H2G2, like all great internet places, is about the people. In order to get and retain more people it needs to change drastically or it might as well just be a Yahoo email group.
