Blimey mate, when you have had a beer you like a rant to clear you mind, dont you
Did you get on there last night and think 'Right, here i go'
It was a good read though
How are you today?
I got a double live cd of Krokus today recorded about 3 years ago, its mega, i will lend it to you, i am sure you will love it

I did get a tad carried away last night. Oops. I have absolutely no idea what triggered it.
Today was largely hungover and spent on busses. Not a good combination.
I was certainly a lot more impressed by Krokus than Hammeryawn. I wonder who that first bunch were? Ghastly individuals! I wouldn't mind a listen of the Krokus, and think I probably should have listened to 'em years ago!

Heavy rock and alcohol is a terrific combo for brain anger
The first band were called Poodle, i bet some rock outfits wish they had thought of that name first
Deep Poodle for one

They enjoyed themselves anyhow...i think
The 3 main bands that i was in had sh*t names also, Mournblade was the first one, then Lazy Fingers and then this was the worst one New York Snow, how naff is that

New York Snow? Was that meteorological or party snow?
Hmmm, dodgy band names. Right then. I was in (in order of appearance):
Radical Hype (well, it was the mid 80s and we were only 15)
Fallen Angels
Local's Only (which, in retrospect, sounds a tad right wing!)
Paisley Chainsaw (we weren't aware of Daisy Chainsaw. Good backdrop - LiftLiker created a character called Parsley the Hippie as a mascotty type thing. One afternoon we sprayed Parsley onto a sheet on the communal hallway. Needless to say, Parsley went through the sheet and ended up on the wall. Cool wall.)
Stalefish (a skateboard trick. Actually, that wasn't a bad name)
and
Growler. Oh dear. I think we were named after the bass player's f;uffy dinosaur, but I can't be sure. 'Twas a long time ago.)
The best one was Apollo Creed (the drummer did a bit of boxing.)

Growler, 'show us your', if you had a hippie in that group he would be a Hairy Growler, or someone who was very honest in the band would be quite fair on the hole, your groupie would be called fanny, or a super trumpeter would be called Lips....shut it Bov, your talking drivel

Bloody hell mate, you're outdoing 2legs on the rambling front there!

Nothing whatsoever. I just finished reading the Guardian and am contemplating an entry about the Vaux brewery and its demise. I doubt I'll get far though - it's all a bit depressing.
You up to much?

Blimey you sound totally bored, you need to get plucking on one of you geeeeetars.
Naff all this end, watching the footie scores coming in, mucked around on the drum kit earlier, wife gone out so bashing the speakers with some Def Leppard(early days).
Was goning to do some gardening, but the bloody rain hasnt stopped here.
Daughter had a fit last night, i dont mean she got angry though, she has been having fit fits recently, about 4 in the last 6 months, but last night was the first one the wife and i saw that is some freaky sh*t, i thought she was body popping on the floor.
It scared the hairs on my testicles to stand on end, all in all she had a fit that lasted 1 minute and then 2 about 30 seconds each.
Ambulance came and we finally left hospital about 2am this morning

Blimey. They are pretty scary things - one of my old flat mates used to have the occasional fit. Unsettling to say the least. Do you know if it's likely to be a long term problem?
PS - the Kaiser Chiefs' new album is rather good.

She has had a heart trace test and a brain scan which were both ok, and we are waiting for results on an MRI test that she had last week, the doctors say it is epilepsy but cant give her meds until it is confirmed via the MRI.
So hopefully next week we will know, she is 19 and we were going to pay for driving lessons but she cant have them now due to this.
Kaiser's album, my daughter has that and whacks it out all the time

The *new* Kaiser's album - released on Monday 26th...
(hence the )
Epilepsy doesn't go down too well with the DVLA! But I think the meds are pretty effective. My mate exacerbated things by necking LSD regularly - not a frightfully good idea. Mind you, out of all of us he's the only one that's nudging his first million quid. The git.

Piddle - I wish you hadn't mentioned Def Leppard. I want to listen to High 'n Dry now!

*wonders by* You might have an EMail Roymondo... it might have an awful roughly mixed MP3 attached to it... you might not want to let the children listen to it though...

Is that you playing bass?

Marmite Posted Feb 24, 2007
...oh the NEW one
Well the old one then
After some of the driving i have seen recently i wouldnt have thought that epilepsy makes much difference
Mega bucks friend then eh, where he live?
It has to be early Leppard for me, their later stuff is sold out american rock
High n' Dry is a rock dream for me, the quality of the songs and production for the 80's kicks arse
