You're not imagining it...
Primeval Mudd (formerly Roymondo) Started conversation Oct 7, 2006
I deleted the 'Jack Straw' journal entry. A fair amount of booze and a smattering of Richard Dawkins (http://cscs.umich.edu/~crshalizi//Dawkins/viruses-of-the-mind.html) led me to get a bit out of hand in the early hours.
Someone posted that RD link elsewhere on HooToo yesterday. Whoever it was, thanks, it's great.

Oh. I thought deleting the enty would ditch the convo too. Piddle.

No, it just takes it out of your PS.. but if you look at your list at the top or bottom of this page, you will still see it.
Nothing is fully deleted in Hootoo..

Should'nt worry Roy, it was'nt controversial in any way, look at how the debate has developed in the news over the last 24hours.

I was a bit harsh on religious types at the end - that's the bit I wanted to vanish!

BMT Posted Oct 7, 2006
You are entitled to your opinion, I did'nt think it was that harsh frankly, I dare'nt really put my views online about the minority of religous zealots that go out of their way to stir trouble. Everyone is entitled to their beliefs after all, debates on issues need to be kept civilised, end of story. your views are as valid as the next persons mate!

I suppose you could try yikesing it yourself if you're worried about it. I've 'poster in anger' on a couple of occasions and yikesed myself.

If I'd sworn, admitted to something especially dubious or picked on somebody then I would have yikesed it. As it is, the opinion is mine, but it could have been phrased a tad better!

It's your journal.. and if your friends don't mind you speaking your opinion, then others shouldn't either.

You cant say boo to these mussies nowadays, i agree with Straw they should have to take them off, religion my ar*e, there is nothing in their script that says they have to wear them.
I live in Windsor as some of you know, and its a disgrace whats going on there at the moment, they are trying to take over public land saying that it is theirs, so they can build a mosque, which they call an 'Islamic Education and Community Centre', yea right
They even attacked a house that was going to be let to soldiers who have returned from Afgan
Who the damn do they think they are, kick out now all the trouble makers and all those who dont cause trouble but agree with it.
Our local MP said this.
"At any time Islamophobic attacks are unacceptable. In this holy month of Ramadan it is particularly distressing for the Muslim community to be victims of hate"
But its ok for them to do what they do, is it.....I DONT THINK SO.
I dont give a rats ar*e about Ramadan and dont upset they during this holy month.
If they want to be accepted as a community in a country that bends over backwards to help them, then they must accept our ways of life as well, and if they dont like it, naff off.
I heard somewhere that up north, the local council were building new houses so that the toilets didnt face Mecca...do me a favour
Then they said that they werent just being built for Muslims, well who else would they be for then

Your local MP is Fiona Mactaggart. I've argued elsewhere that positive action is wrong and she just proves it. She was selected from a woman only list. At a time when Muslim community leaders are screaming blue murder, she should be representing ALL her constituents but she has chosen to side with the Muslims.
The victims in the dairy case were the 15 year old beaten up for stealing a bottle of milk. Then his mother and sister were attacked by a Muslim mob armed with pitchforks and iron bars before seeing their car smashed up. The police have said they will be taking no action against the Muslim thugs.
3 guys have been arrested though. All white. All for complaining.

Marmite Posted Oct 7, 2006
Yep, thats her, totally useless.
It was in our local papers, but i see it has made it into the national ones
The police didnt take action as she said she couldnt clearly identify them and they said it wasnt worth reporting
They are all scared to do anything in case they get bombed or something, we are dealing with fanatical nutters.
