He's sure he'll need about three days in the shower before all this dust and buffalo and fish and gunk come off completely. In the meantime, a certain meddling mercenary will be minced, mangled, and murdered before the day runs out*

*a loud THUNK indicates Corrupt making a flying leap to avoid NYC's random fire... and not landing too well.*

*NYC fires up in an impressive display of industrial light and magic, his face lit up from the gun to display evil, maniacal laughing - laughing that would be all the more intimidating were it not for the dust, buffalo jerky, blue goop, and that fish stuck in NYC's hair*

*the Dewey Demon makes a dive for the general area where the THUNK came from*

Uses lightsaber to deflect the smartgun's ray, unfortunately, the ray is now wildly reflecting all around the room...

*Corrupt's conciousness reluctantly returns, and she sees the Dewey Demon grappling in an area slightly to her left. Scurrying away in the opposite direction, she hides behind the couch to avoid the smartgun rays...*

*sniff sniff* Mommeeee... I wanna go HOME... *sniffff*

*was just starting to get up when the random fire dislodged some of the ceiling and caught her on the shoulder...the one she'd been shot in before*

I'm not having a very good day.

*climbs out of the table wreckage and tries to build herself a barrier with only one arm*

*NYC pauses long enough to survey the damage from over the muzzle flash. Results are promising. He presently begins to pepper Peter's ship with smartgun rounds, if but for the sake of effect*

*The couch explodes from a blast of smartgun fire. Leaping away is the sillouette-like figure of Corrupt... even though *she* is invisible, now that she's somewhat charred it doesn't seem to work too well. She runs for cover elsewhere...*

*Powers up a reflector shield and cackles as NYC is peppered by his own smartgun fire*

*the mound of debris shifts a little and Fashion Victim Boy emerges*

*NYC falls back from both the mass of J.J and the reflected fire of his own smartgun, which, if his luck is with him, will cancel each other out. Anyway, with the smartgun knocked out of his reach and his own position being peppered with shots from the very gun he doesn't have any more, NYC rearms himself with his bat and cowers behind it to block the shots. Of course, this is quite like trying to swat a B2 bomber with a Soviet-era Scud launcher, but let's not go there... *

*A B2 bomber flys overhead*

Ah! It's American!!! Run for Cover!!!

An American plane? They wouldn't start bombing liberal campuses just to shut us up, would they?

*grabs smartgun and runs for cover, as the american plane starts bombing*
