Poetry In Motion.
Hi :-)
My name is Dee, I'm not really sure what I am going to put on this page as yet. Anyway below is a couple of my so-called attempts at poetry, to be going on with. That is, until I can come up with something more interesting to keep you all entertained hopefully. Oh, I do a bit of writing as well, maybe I'll put some of it up here as well soon perhaps?
Seeeeeee- You all later Aligater-In A While Crocodile.
Chill Out- 'I said Beeeeee- Soooooooon ' ! - As 'Hilda Baker' used to say. (A very funny lady comedian on british T.V that I used to cry with laughter at) Now that's giving my age away. :-)

The Clown.
Nobody sees the pain between the eyes,
just the clown,
acting out his disguise.
Nobody sees the pain he is in,
with his big red mouth,
and his wide open grin.
Nobody sees through his disguise,
or even detects,
the pain through his eyes.
He 's crying out aloud!
but nobody hears
through his laughter,
and his bucket of tears.
Look at his nose,
it's a red as can be.
probably from drying
it on his hanky.
Look at the white circles,
under his eyes.
I bet they're black,
if he took of his disguise.
And his face,
all covered in rouge.
probably trying to hide
his taut expression,
while suffering,
severe depression.
Look at his red mouth,
and again at his wide grin.
Can you not see
he is suffering !
The Crime Of Silence.
The woman You'd think,
Committed a crime.
The way she sat indoors,
And spent her time.
Cleaning cleaning,
Thinking thinking,
Washing dishes,
Clink clinking.
The noises inside her head,
Were usually full of fear,
And also dread
Gas fires hissing,
Heartbeats missing.
Polishing hoovering,
Always maneuvering,
Moving furniture,
To make it look good,
Trying to reason
With her heart of wood.
For years,
It had got so many splinters,
Seen countless winters,
There didn't seem any point,
In trying again,
It had been too long
Out in the pouring rain.
She sits alone when
The downstairs is done,
Just staring into space,
Then "Oh No"!
Its started again,
Her mind going,
At an incredible pace,
Then she's off again,
Cleaning up, all over the place.
She thinks this time,
I'll make the beds,
Do the stairs
Wash out my wears
After doing all that
In walks the husband.
He couldn't give a hoot
How hard the woman had worked,
When he walked through the house
With his boots, full of dirt.
She thinks, "Oh No"!
With heart already broken
And head full of dread
He just looked at the woman
With no word said.
The lack of communication,
Was leading to severe frustration
She couldn't help thinking
She was wasting her time
And there must be something
Better in life than being
This man's crazy wife.
Maybe that's why,
No words were ever said,
From time to time the woman thought,
She must be dead.
