Blade Runner Entry in Peer Review

Post 1

Mr. Cogito

Hello, I just figured I'd pop on over and let you know that Zarniwoop has nominated your entry on Blade Runner for the Peer Review process: http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/F48874?thread=125008 In case none of what I've said has made any sense, Peer Review is the process where entries are suggested, critiqued, and included into the Edited Guide (those entries you see on the front page every day). It's not meant to be a wringer, although people will be offering constructive criticism on your entry. After your entry has been reviewed sufficiently, a scout (like me) will then nominate it and see if the Editors like it for the Edited Guide. Factual entries like this usually have no problems, and I think you have an excellent chance of being included into the Guide for this one. That said, I want to see what you think. It is perfectly acceptable for users to nominate other entries for Peer Review if they feel they meet the requirements. But we like to check how you feel about this as well. Do you want your entry to go through Peer Review? Also, have you finished working on the entry for the most part, or are there other major revisions you want to make (in which case, we should wait until then for Peer Review perhaps)? Please let me know if either of these are the case, and I will stop the Peer Review process. Otherwise, I'd suggest you check out the conversation as well. You can use the link above. And if you have any questions, feel free to ask me or another Scout. :-) Yours, Jake

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
