Who is the Vap?
Hi. I am Karnuvap - its not my real name of course! I made it up on a whim when hotmail wanted me to be PaulSmith3981. Who could believe that there were 3980 Paul Smiths before me? Anyway - Karnuvap was invented and, sure enough, there were no other Karnuvaps already registered with Hotmail. My online persona has been this ever since.
I am classically educated to degree level in Physics and my passion is to try to explain stuff. - Go on! ask me a question!
I write science fiction in an Adams style amongst others. Lately I have been entering nanowrimo (google-it) and, this year I am prepared!
I have a wife and a yound son and together we are taking on planet Earth's challenges before we leave for somewhere closer to the galactic rim. (My next book is called "Earth, things to see before you leave")
My hero writers are Douglas Adams, Richard Feynman, Richard Bach and Richard Dawkins but I read a lot of Sci-Fi too.
My favourite time of year is Autumn - being indoors and warm while a storm rages outside is devine and it is also the best time of year because it is the lead-up to Christmas.
I hate junk science fluff and I collect Active Liposomes like there's no tomorrow.
I'm with Woody Allen when it comes to immortality. "Some people want to achieve immortality by becoming famous and being remembered forever. Me? I just don't want to die!"
