so where are all the babel fish?
Hello and Welcome to my page, this is all new to me so this page is still under construction, please ensure that you observe all the relevant Health and Safety notices when visiting this site. Hard hat, ear defenders and safety boots should be worn.
By profession I am a Horticulturalist - I know my Asters from my Elderberries and am obsessed by plants and gardens, in fact it is not so much a job as an identity, so if your plants are poorly or you are perplexed by pruning I would be glad to help.
I have far too many hobbies for one person, these include gardening, knitting, painting and writing.
I have ecclectic tastes in Art,some of my favourite artists include
Richard Dadd - I once completed a jigsaw puzzle of his famous work 'The Fairy Feller's Master-stroke' which helps to explain why he spent large parts of his live in an an asylum.

Literature and Music and love to travel. I have visited the East Coast of America three times, lived in Italy for five months, as well as France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and went on a Medeterrainean Cruise on the S.S.Uganda (later the Falklands Hospital Ship) which visited Egypt, Crete, Turkey, Santorini and Venice. The trip was a very long time ago but was one of the most wonderful things that I have ever done.
I am a serious Terry Prachett fan as well as an ardent admirer of the late and much missed Douglas Adams (I can still quote Vogon Poetry if cornered) and enjoy writing poetry which I hope is less virulent than that of the Vogons!
There are many questions to which I am seeking answers, most of which only come to mind in the small hours of the night, why is that? I have often wondered what would happen if the Babel fish really did exist, would it help us understand one-another or cause even more trouble?
