Well ive been called a lot of things in my time ..but never boring ..or plain for that matter
..im just very bad at small talk..brain just doesnt work that way.
Yup shite a great word.. does sound funnier with an accent though..particularly Irish..()

brains ... incredible things ... wish I knew how mine worked ... sometimes I wonder whether it's been set on demonstration mode and can't get out of it ...
Hello
Serephina Posted Jun 19, 2003
Think mines just faulty!
At least trying to understand myself gives me something to do!
Do get bored very easily if im not occupied ..and trying to keep on one track can be hard too ..tend to waffle a lot n veer all over the place
Then theres the psychic thing..how I ended up with that I'll never know.

It keeps people on their toes if they don't quite know which direction the conversation is going to go next ... nothing like predictability to really bore someone ... if you lose them, back track a bit so they can get to grips with what you're rabbiting on about and then try and lose them again ... such fun
The best one though, is in the face of feisty sorts, spoiling for a fight, baffle them with logic ... works every time ...
Some would say I was unconfrontational ... how right they'd be!

Bit of a wimp then yeah? So am I..though I do have a proper red head temper
I always end up losing people ,or making them think I'm a nutter ,one of the two. Was talkig to an ex friend of mine one day n he was going on about some place called Burton..I had to interrupt his not very interesing story to ask him where was it as it sounded like a biscuit,
dont think he was very amused..but it was a genuine question

... it's not that I'm a wimp it's just I don't see any point in hitting anyone ... if you can baffle your way out of it so much the better ... by the time said knuckle head has worked out exactly what you've said you're long gone ...
With regard to the confusing people I was at a party a couple of weeks back and was introduced to someone as "This is Ed, my ex house mate" ... "that's an odd surname. Welsh is it?" ... cue complete confusion on all counts ... priceless to watch their faces though ...
how dull would life be without the likes of us ...
Hello
Serephina Posted Jun 20, 2003
I actually knew someone who would answer pretty much anything you said to them with 'what was that? 5 items or less?' ..hmmmm
I cant remember the last time I had to get out of a fight..either I dont get out enough to offend anybody or I'm just too lovely
Hello
Ek* this space intentionally left blank *ki Posted Jun 20, 2003
I couldn't possibly begin to comment ...
It doesn't happen very often that people start picking fights with me ... last time, I managed to get out of being hit by pointing out to the guy who had just asked if I wanted to go outside and fight it out, that it was raining ...
Hello
Ek* this space intentionally left blank *ki Posted Jun 20, 2003
I don't suppose he did but I did ... what's the point in getting wet - not just that but hit as well ... silly little man - honestly some people!
Hello
Serephina Posted Jun 20, 2003
Ive never really been in a fight at all..punched a few lads in my time though..on one ocassion I was fast asleep at the time!
Hello
Ek* this space intentionally left blank *ki Posted Jun 20, 2003
Can't admit to ever having hit anyone in anger ... the odd smack in the head during particularly heated rugby matches is about as much as I've stretched to ... the occasional stray elbow in the mush but nothing with any intent ... a big pussy cat really - just wish I had a prehensile tail - and whiskers wouldn't go amiss ...
Hello
Serephina Posted Jun 20, 2003
I still feel sorry for the poor lad I right hooked in my sleep..
I wouldnt be a cat I dont think..
though I do have a habit of curling up n purring when im happy ..a hamster perhaps..or a bunny wabbit..
Hello
Ek* this space intentionally left blank *ki Posted Jun 20, 2003
If he sleeps half as heavily as I do then I don't suppose he would have noticed!
Purring you see ... another boon of being feline ...
Hamster you say? Bunny rabbit? Viscious beasts - all those teeth and they only need them for eating grass ... some would say over armed ...
Hello
Serephina Posted Jun 20, 2003
Viscious maybe..but cute none the less
And actually he did notice.. I was the only one asleep at the time
Hello
Ek* this space intentionally left blank *ki Posted Jun 20, 2003
whatever!
I suspect even if he had been asleep, a smack in the kisser might've woken him up!
I have been known to move furniture in my sleep - not sure if it's quite the same ...
Hello
Serephina Posted Jun 23, 2003
Not really no !
I stopped sleep walking when I left home..or maybe its just theres no one around to tell me now!
Hello
Ek* this space intentionally left blank *ki Posted Jun 24, 2003
Ah, you see mine isn't really proper sleep walking in so much as I'm fully aware that I'm doing it but at that moment in time, whatever it is I'm doing just has to be done and no amount of logic will stop me ...
I think it's a family trait ... both my brother and sister do likewise ... the small hours in our house when we were young was quite an interesting time all things considered!
Hello

The run? You must be kidding!! It was a walk ... but it was utter hell!
Completing it was quite an achievement and quite a buzz and inspite of swearing never to do it again, the three of us in our team who completed it have already agreed to maybe perhaps possibly do it again next year and see if we can't break 20 hours!
Still walking as if I've had a red hot poker applied to the unmentionables but there we have it!
